Fucking Apple cultists, wake up
Apple X???? you mean samsung galaxy S6 w/o water resistance?
If you pay $999 to take Instagram photos and play flappy bird, you're objectively retarded.
Nigga still thinks flappy bird is relevant
Yeah what is he some kind of scrub that plays Subway Surfer?
If you think mobile gaming is even remotely the same thing kys
what's that spoiler even meant to mean lol, be less edgy would ya
Sorry, I guess I'm not a real gamer.
Fuck off crapple shill.
fact, my phone is $799, and doesnt have a headphone jack
then I remembered how much I don't use headphones, and it didn't bother me any more. And even then, all I did was buy a blutooth set for my laptop, which i can also use for my phone
The fact that my phone is only 450USD which has:
Snapdragon 821 Processor (Quad-Core at 2.35Ghz)
IP68 certified - dust/water proof
1440 x 2880 pixels (~564 ppi pixel density)
5.7 inches (78.6% screen-to-body ratio)
Dolby Vision/HDR10 compliant
microSD, up to 256 GB
Dual 13 MP Back Camera
3.5mm Jack w/ Active noise cancellation
Fingerprint Sensor (rear-mounted)
Hybrid Dual SIM
3300 mAh battery (With Endurance rating 72h)
And Bluetooth 4.2
And all I did was buy a cheaper but BETTER phone!
Does it have a 30mm cannon with up to 1200 high explosive which it can fire in 2 minutes, 80 70mm rockets and hellfire missiles?
Can it fly?
Didn't think so.
Oh look, someone has a worse phone than me! I better tell him how dumb he is for investing money into that phone!
Did I even say the word dumb?
Do you know how to use the word "invest" properly?
You don't have to use the word "dumb" to imply that it was a dumb investment when you say "And all I did was buy a cheaper but BETTER phone!"
It's not that hard to use the word "invest."
1. I am saying that what he bought isn't a very good item for the price that he bought it. He can buy something better for a cheaper price.
2. As explained in your link, "to put (money) to use, by purchase or expenditure, in something offering potential
" The proper word you should use is "spend." I spent 450 on a phone, not I invested 450 on a phone. Since it's not profitable. Again,
I guess that depends on what you consider profit. It doesn't necessarily have to be monetary.
Also, the second definition of the link I provided shows that I used the word correctly.
huh, I think people
A- Think I have an Iphone (which I don't) , and downvote
B- assume A, plus my indifference to a, IMO, dying feature in technology
I'm just agreeing with nathanbiggs that other phone companies are doing similar. Listing off your phone specs literally added nothing to the conversation thread. My non Iphone doesn't have a jack, and my buddys Samsung phone doesn't either, yet people rip apple for not having a feature next cycle, which other companies haven't had for the last year and a half. another example is this facial recognition thing, that you said your phone has, but it's a hot topic about the Iphone X.
Also, I just get whatever the shiny new phone the phone store has at the time (which last time around happened to be the MOTO Z Force. The extra battery and speaker "moto-mods" are pretty fucking legit), simply because it makes me feel better, and an extra $15-$20 on my bill to pay for it every month doesn't break my budget.. like at all. Like, I think I walked into the store and told the guy I wanted the smart phone with the longest battery life that came out in the last 4 months, and he told me about this one and I said sold.
personally, my only complaint is that the home screen and menu bar are burned into the screen, so when I watch videos, I see them. don't know if that's a phone or screen issue though
So? You've bought a phone that's
1. TOO expensive
2. Has problems (Like screen issues and shit)
3. Requires multiple add-ons in order to have a better experience.
Plus, I've never said anything about you having an Iphone. I did imply that you did not know what the hell you were buying. A phone with good battery life? How about the other things that make a phone useful? Did you compare your item with other items that you can choose?
It's not about your "budget," it's always about the best choice. Imagine that you save 100 dollars every month. At around 5 years you'd have 6000. You can either save or invest. What do you choose?
1- Too expensive- thats entirely subjective. A phone you consider too expensive, might not be for someone else.
2- if you have a phone that is absolutely flawless, i'd love to see it. I've had cheap phones and "expensive" phone both have minor issues. this phone actually isn't slowing down after use, like many past phones I've had. Going back in history: images burned onto screen, 3/4 speakers on the ear piece died, volume rockers broke and home button wore out, had to replace the screen half a dozen times because the screens were so fragile, antennae broke off pulling it out of the phone....
3- I mean... i guess? this is grasping at straws. If i had a cheaper phone, there would be litterally no difference between buying a third party bluetooth speaker and a battery pack, rather than the two that I bought that were made specifically for my phone.
And at the time a long battery life was legitimately the most important thing to me. I don't see why you're blowing it off as insignificant in what I was looking for in a phone. I had a job where I was able to use my phone all day, to browse Reddit and watch youtube/netflix, where I also had no access to a power outlet. I get well above and beyond $20 a months worth out of my phone. Battery life hasn't failed me. Mods are amazing. Responsiveness is top notch. But oh no! the screen has a flaw, so I'm the problem plaguing consumers.
and sorry, the tone of your first coment led me to that conclusion, even if you didn't say it. I only ever hear people list off phone specs and pricing when refering to how thier phone are better than Iphones. Also that you said your phone was better, while only knowing what I paid for mine. What phone did you list up top, btw? cause you have similar specs as mine, but half the price.
1. By too expensive, I meant that as Price to Functionality. Example: low functionality with a high price = expensive(low ratio). High functionality with high price = ok. High functionality with low price = Cheap (Great ratio)
2. I understand your point. Every phone, computer, etc will break one day or become obsolete. One of the best phones I had broke when it got wet from the rain. Never broke when I dropped it a lot of times though.
3. I didn't say it was insignificant. It's what you need. But, did you consider the other factors that would affect your experience? Like the sturdyness, speed, storage and stuff. Why buy something that's expensive but doesn't have everything you need, when there are other options?
I'm using an LG G6 right now, sturdy, fast, lots of storage, waterproof and quite cheap for it's specs. An upgrade from my older LG G2, that I used for 4 years but got wet.
