Dude he was being sarcastic
I'd imagine it's a good part experience too. Go ahead and call me racist, but every time I see a group of black teens/kids in a store, I'm on high fucking alert. The first time I caught a shoplifter at work was a little black kid trying to grab a 12 pack of Mountain Dew and book it out the door. The next was figuring out that a couple black kids popped open an electric shaver, picked some shit out of it, and left the rest behind some cereal. Another one stole cigs while right next to me and, I shit you not, put up his hands and shouted "WHAT?!" when I tried to say something about it. I have seen another, older guy swipe over $200 in razors in his backpack, but luckily got caught by the cameras because he was smiling right into one. The latest was some kid stealing an entire box of fruity ass pseudo cigars and tackling me on his way out. I've seen a good amount of other people steal too, but none of them have left quite the mark as when the black people who did it. Literately; Had a couple spots beaming red for a couple days from that last one.
I work in a retail clothing store, and almost every fucking thief I've ever caught was wearing one of these.
Honestly not surprised.
That jacket screams "I CAN HIDE SHIT UNDERNEATH THIS!"
you could argue that there is racism in the system, im not saying all cops are racist but when you look at the stats
you can see that black people are stopped and searched WAY more than whites, and almost all of them turn out to be innocent anyway, so it cant be ''because blacks commit more crime than whites''
Devil's advocate, but wouldn't that just be more because they DO commit more crimes, thus they sort of brought a certain level of racial profiling upon blacks as a whole?
Sure, blacks and other minorities do commit more crimes than whites in general but the fact remains that most people who are stop and frisked are innocent.
I would ask you to think if it were ok for cops to randomly search you based on your colour, I don't think anyone would think ''Its OK for them to search me, people of my colour do commit most crimes''
All I'm saying is that a vast majority of stop and frisk targets blacks but only a small amount are actual criminals, if blacks ''committing crimes brings a certain level of racial profiling upon blacks as a whole'' shouldn't the obvious lack of results in stop and frisk dispel that racial profiling?
Sorry for the long post, here's some final closing words ripped straight from wikipedia on racial profiling.
The New York Police Department has been subject to much criticism for its "stop and frisk" tactics. According to statistics on the NYPD's stop and frisk policies, collected by the Center for Constitutional Rights,[when?] 51% of the people stopped by the police were Black, 33% were Latino, and 9% were White, and only 2% of all stops resulted in contraband findings.
millennials becoming police officers is what scares me most
they hate everyone in their own generation
i can see a huge shitstorm coming
actually us police are generally poorly trained. depending on the city, a lot of cops can be too unfit to chase anyone, so they reach for the gun more
Are you an officer? Or, do you mean US police?
Either way, shut up, leaf.
Pardon my my good gentleman, but within the comment you are replying to I was blatantly attempting to reference the United states of America's police force, however your wisecrack remark highlighting the minuscule ambiguity of my statement was undeniably a ruse to exhibit yourself as an individual whom was merely pointing out a fault in my argumentation, allowing yourself to rudely request that I "shut up" without exposing yourself as a rapscallion, as well as referencing my country of origin as a means of further insulting and discrediting my comment, all without a formal remark, and I wish to notify you that
ur a faggot lololo
Woo hoo! I'm a gay rapscallion!
goteem ecks dee
he does have a point though. Countries have varying level of required fitness training, even from municipality to municipality. In Louisiana, for example. You can go from joe-on-the-street to a fully certified police officer in 360 hours of training (about three months), yet Louisiana does not have a very strict intake requirements.
the RCMP (default police force), on the other hand, is a 7 month course with a very strict fitness requirement before you enroll, and officers are kept in a paramilitary environment to ensure that proper behavior and training is instilled.
