an addition to what anon said about sleep:
adults need 8-8½ hours of sleep, children and teens (about 21 and under) need 9-9½ hours of sleep. Melatonin is the hormone that makes you sleepy, and is essential to falling asleep. looking at a screen/monitor will prohibit you from producing melatonin, so be sure to lay down your computer like, an hour before bed.
Change is always good. Of course there a tons of things you could do. To be honest the #1 thing you can do is exercise, It boost self esteem, testosterone, focus and lots of other stuff. But lets face you're not going to.
Start with baby steps. If you want to change literally write out a clear idea of who or what you want to be like. Try to think of exact things like eat healthier or be able to talk to girls or learn how to cook. IF you have trouble think of people or character you look up to. "I want to be like Captain america", "I want to be a hero like all might" , "I want to be smart like Hermione". Also you don't have to think small with this. Whether you go small like I want to go to bed early and wake up early, or a goal to get a girlfriend, it doesn't matter what matter is the next 2 parts
Next you plan. You wanna be a male model who paints pictures of dogs that he adopted? cool. How? You have goals now plan how to reach them. The internet is your friend here. Be sure to set two types of goals. Short measurable goals and long term broad goals. Like my long term goal is to get fit so my short term goals are to work out 3 times a week , fruit or vege with every meal and only 1 dessert a week. Next you execute your plan. At last you follow up. Did you do what you said you would? Hold yourself accountable and punish or reward yourself and change or set new goals according.
LASTLY yeah this is a pain is the ass to do. Well my friend change is easy. Positive and healthy change is hard. Everything you see, read, say or do has an effect on you. In other words you are constantly changing. If you don't take control of your life then who is in control? Who is the driver and where are you heading? Even if you think you are doing nothing you are changing. Don't allow yourself or others to change into a person who is okay with mediocrity. You goddamn son of Zeus

but an anime I recommend that heavily influenced me is Welcome to the NHK. Similar in concept to RE:Life but more based in reality.
you need more sleep than 6 hours. Try to shoot for at least 7 (8 is the recommended amount).
You know what they say, practice makes perfect. It'll seem foreign and inconsistent at first but just keep at it! Journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step and all that jazz.
Optimism is rough. You hope for the best but it's a struggle when things haven't been looking up for a long time.
A coping mechanism I use instead of optimism is simply adjusting my hopefulness.
It's more of a pessimistic approach to optimism if that makes sense. (I call it pessimistic optimism) I expect figuratively everything to go wrong. And I mean I expect the worst of circumstances all the time of events/people/etc. (pessimistic part). But when these circumstances occur, they're usually much better than I first anticipated by comparison. (optimistic part)
