Last messages to Conrad...
I'm pretty sure she called after the "did you delete the messages" and that's when he told her that he got out, followed by her pressuring him back in the truck over the phone.
- I still block ads on FJ, for this exact reason. bite me, admin.
like i give money to addy and still have ad block on $12 p/month is a good donation fee
oh after i got an autoplay video add that was invisible like forever ago i turned that shit on and have never taken it off
That's the reason I never whitelist sites, the few times I have this shit happens so my rule is never disable adblock. Ever. If a site asks me to disable it or leave, I'll leave unless it's something I vitally need.

That's cool and all for a small one-way road in a small town that sees like three cars a day, but if you're letting a tree grow how the fuck ever it wants in other areas, you're not only damaging the sidewalk but the tree might mess with pipes in the ground.
Near my home, there's a small forest on one side of the street. If we'd plant a tree in the middle of the sidewalk there, then kids would need to drive on the road on their way to school in the morning.
I think everyone is supposed to drive on the road, even kids.
Judging by the tree and its root spread at the time of it becoming a problem, its roots would have almost certainly kept expanding into the roads.
Kids are supposed to be taking their bikes along the sidewalk or designated bike paths, assuming they are riding your average kid bike.
No he said drive, like cars, and I'm making fun of that.
Ayy, with a one-lane, two-way street that's gets busy during rush hours, we have a bike-lane on one side of the road and on the other side - that side with the kids - we have a wider sidewalk with a sign that pedestrians and bikes should share it.
Which works good, if you don't have a tree in the middle of the sidewalk.
Trees in our neighborhood can't crack or destroy sidewalks, we never have a problem because we just don't plant massive ass 300 ft trees. We have plenty of beautiful trees.
Do you think trees become 300 feet tall shortly after planted or something?
Do you think people haul in a 300 foot tall tree, bash a hole into the side walk, toss the tree in the hole, and then hope no one notices?
Since this somehow needs clarification, my neighborhood is lined with trees similar in size and type to a flowering almond tree. It never destroys the sidewalks and we never have any problems
No what I meant was we don't plant seeds that will grow into a big ass tree. Normal tree seeds
top fucking pip

At my former high school, when the fire alarm went off, we were taught to wait momentarily for an announcement declaring if it was a real fire or not.
Therefore, if it was a shooter pulling the alarm, we would know since the announcement would tell us that this is neither a drill or a real fire.
Silence would also do it in the case the shooter somehow manages to stealthily kill the people in the office in some manner.
But yeah, this way of using fire alarm seemed pretty handy imo.
Well, there's just no winning, now is there?
Switching sides might do the trick
