"Do you think the nice guy really gets the girl in the end? That that guy from the TV shows who for some reason never gets the girl will really have her in the end because he is a good person? Better yet, do you think if that guy really looked like a buffed out actor that plays him he would really be undesirable in the first place? Of course not, because life is a shriveled old hag who taints everything she leers at. Some of us are just born to never win.
It's really funny how that works though. I'm not talking about the stoner who refused to do his work. They had a chance to be a winner. Im talking about the person that no matter how much they try, and try they shall, they fail. They fail not because they are stupid, unmotivated, or not even repelling. They fail because of the one trait that the world says it desires, but then quells wherever it might appear. It's that they are a fundamentally at their core a good person.
Good people are taken advantage of because they would do unto others as they would want to be treated themselves. If only the world was filled with these people it would be a utopia. Instead the world is saturated with people who just take advantage of everyone. **** floats and gold sinks. It's that simple.
So now a social order has been established. You have the douches that society deems successful and thus desirable. People flock to them as if they would do anything for them when in reality they would be more quick to stab them in the back. The other side of the coin is not as glamorous. It doesn't matter that the nice guy is successful in every other area of his life. He was deemed unworthy, so he must be cast out. and because he is cast out he is unworthy. circular logic. Even if he was not damaged before, well.. being alone mangles even the strongest of spirits.
Their sense of social communication becomes out of touch, because how can you refine that which can not be tampered? Any attempt to break through back to normal society just gets harder and harder, and the anger just grows and grows within them. They become lonelier and lonelier.
And yet an interesting phenomenon happens. Even as life kicks them when they are down and beats them to a bloody pulp they do something no other group does. They get back up and then spit in life's face and says bring it. They get back up and refuse to just take it. But more importantly, they dont change who they are. and it's because they refuse to stop being good, they will always fail."
