Like Circuit suggested, the military could be a viable option for you. The Air Force is always looking for intelligent recruits, and you seem WAYYYY more qualified than most, if not all of the recruits before you. The PT is a joke (so you don't really have to be in shape.). With the credentials you have, you could potentially score a really nice position.

If you are not willing to go that far yet, I would suggest learning a trade so you can have a steady, specialized job until you get where you want to be.

I shouldn't assume that everyone here is American, I forget sometimes. I am very sorry for your position...

The thing is, you don't have to drop bombs on people to be in the military, there are many non-combat positions in the military. A buddy of mine is heading out to do Cyber Security in the Air Force, another flies satellites, and my brother-in-law is in medical (was a medic for a while and is now a biomedical tech).

I wish you the best, my friend, I hope everything works itself out soon. I don't want to tell you how to live your life, just throwing out suggestions. Keep that chin up, you'll figure it out.

I seems that you are very level-headed, and you have a very positive perspective of things; you will do great things if you keep that up. I could learn a thing or two from ya...I'll have to remember about things getting better when I head out for boot this month, hehe.

now on a serious note: maybe your trying in the wrong direction. go for ups, or fedex. hell i have a degree in computer animation and multimedia and im about to go to another school to become an underwater welder. worst case scenario try the air force.

that's good for your girlfriend, but you need to focus on what you're doing. go in to the coast guard or air force and sign up man.
