White Funnyjunk
In the beginning, there was nothing
Unfortunatley, very little is known about
Funnyjunk in it' s early days. If you were to
go by the philosophy of "pics or it didn' t
happen" then I guess you could call White
Funnyjunk nothing more than a legend
All we can be sure of is that the domain
was registered on July 29, 2001
Yellow Funnyjunk
Yet Again, known photos of Yellow
Funnyjunk exist. However it' s legacy is
well established in our memories and in
our oral history.
Yellow Funnyjunk consisted of 3 sections;
Pictures, Videos and Flash Games. People
could submit content, 4 pictures and 4 videos
would be featured on the front page every
day. Games would rarely be updated.
The factor of this funnyjunk that made it
stand out from the others is that it heavily
emphasized videos. Get ready for a wave of
nostalgia...

Green Funnyjunk
Yellow Funnyjunk transitioned to Green very
smoothly. Users could now have accounts
and community games were added, but flash
games declined. Unfortunately this era
was marred with relentless spammers such
as Fat Ben and Pen Island. The ability to
sort pictures
was introduced
You could sort
by animals,
cars, signs, ect.
Personally I
would like to
see this return.
During this time period Funnyjunk was
heavily influenced by a website called
Albinoblacksheep. com.

The Ultimate

The Change As Green Funnyjunk neared
it' s end it began to resemble modern
funnyjunk. Stars became thumbs, and a user
content section appeared. This change to
thumbs whiped the slate clean and erased all
evidence of original funnyjunk. Soon after this
the site turned gray.

Now I know my recollection may have
flaws, but ET just one guy working on
this. If you have any changes to make
