The debuff could be passed on between characters of the same faction within 2 yards, and would kill characters with lower levels in a few seconds, while higher level characters could keep themselves alive. It would disappear in 1 minute or when the character dies. The debuff resets its counter if an ally is infected. As of writing this, the plague is still going, despite Game Masters banning people who are intentionally spreading of the disease.Just like the old days of Burning Crusade.
