After watching a coworker get treated as if they were stupid after not knowing something related to their work, I've created this series. Here we can share what we've learned throughout the week without having to deal with being belittled for having not known it before, no matter how insignificant it is.
This week I learned that South American tribes may have traveled further than originally thought. Through the study of the makeup of Polynesian DNA, researchers have found links between the DNA of the island natives and that of South American tribes. This discovery could shed light on how people came to live on the Polynesian islands and may suggest that it was not just the people of Asia that settled those lands. However, more research is still needed to provide further evidence into this idea
