How To: A Hat in Time Online Co-OpitsbeowulftimeRank: #1426 vidyagaemsBlocksBlocks prevnext Prev Next A Hat in Time recently got it's Co-Op update, but sadly, the developers couldn't get Online Co-Op working (yet). Fret not! Because it's still possible and incredibly easy to play Co-Op with a pal, or even some weird stranger from Taiwan!Using a program called Parsec, you can host games that are Local Co-Op and have players take control of other Controllers from their PC. You have full control over what they can and cannot control, so no need to worry about them abusing ****. You can Download Parsec here: You need to login to view this link Install it, create an account, and launch the Program.Once you've launched it, you can click on Party Finder to find the game you want to play, and join a person who's hosting it!. Depending on your distance from them, there can be some slight delay, but if you have people in the same region as you, you should be fine. Or, you can click play and host your own game for friends to join. You can also create a party as well. Any controller you have plugged in will automatically work For a Hat in Time, Parsec has put up a guide on how to get started, but it's pretty straight forward anyway: You need to login to view this link if you're using wifi, you will also notice a slight delay, but it shouldn't be too big depending on the game you're playing. Also, a fair warning to Hosts: If you are using Discord, switch to another device to connect to your chats, because any audio from Discord will be put through the stream, and can cause wicked echo for people talking over discord while playing this. The AHIT community is starting to pile into this, so even if you don't own the game, go ahead and check it out!
