What is a redditor? Well a redditor is someone who's far too socially inept and autistic to use real social media but still wishes to maintain enough of an artificial sense of identity to use real anonymous form sites. Once they enter they can pick and chose what is fed to them in a way that not only allows circlejerking the same 20 opinions without opposition but rewards them. Their idea of culture is spamming the same 50 non-jokes with this idea they're superior when in reality they're just as autistic as /r9k/ but the mask they wear is that of their "band kid" self rather than the true and unapologetic stripped down face robots wear.
I have seen twitter hate mobs ruin the lives of people for a single joke they made a decade ago. I've seen predatory tumblr blogs that rope in teenagers with convinced feelings of inadequacies. I have seen torture fetish sites, druggie forms, and political extremists boards. Reddit is all that and more. I can think of no site no harmful to the psyche.
