I wanted too share this with you guys as I thought it was interesting, and hopefully for you guys as well. This is not the first time our Minister of Migration and Integration Sylvi Listhaug has been on the offense against islam or migrants from the middle east. I got too say that I am not a big fan of our current government, but I have too give them some respect in trying to maintain a strict view against islamisation and migrants from the middle east.
This was published 04.08.2017, the translation was done by me. There might be some spelling errors here and there, I did try my best to locate them and correct them but my written english is not the greatest. So it may not be perfect as it is bit tricky to translate from norwegian to english, mainly because you cant just directly translate things from norwegian-english because it will often loose it's orignal meaning. I will leave the link to the original aticle in norwegian if you want to see and read it yourself.
Listhaug on the offense against main speaker during the conference against extremism.
Minister of Migration and Integration Sylvi Listhaug (FRP, political party) pointed her finger against theologist Thair-ul-Qadri when was holding a speech at the Muslim Youth summer camp against extremeism this friday.
(Text under the picture in the article) Minister of Migration and Integration Sylvi Listhaug flanked by the Pakistani ambassador Riffat Masood (t.v.), and leader for the faith community Minhaj-ul-Quran, Awais Ejaz Ahmed, during the opening for the Muslim youth camp against extremeism this friday. (end of the text under the picture)
-Way too many youths have been murdered in cold blood in the name of islam, was Listhaug opening statement during this friday's speech, at the same time she served up a long list of cities were extremist have undergone acts of terrorism. (Sylvi)
Onward she pointed a huge responsebility to the muslim faith community too combat this kind of extremeism, and at the same time praised the initatives that Minhaj-ul Qurans summercamp took too set extremism on the map.
At the same time she warned about the fact that she was aware that there are "wolves in sheeps clothing", people she mean says one thing offical, and then something completly different when they are talking to their own side.
-This has been brought to the surface a lot off times earlier and I have registered that several newspapers shows that today's main speaker here at this arrangment fronts opinions here in the west, and something else at home, says Sylvi.
-Is it true that our main speaker of the day is really for stoning as a punishment? Death penalty for blasphemy? That Islamic laws should be valued over western values? This is not compatible with Norwegian and western values. I am excited too hear the speech that comes afterwards, she continues. (Sylvi)
-Religion of Peace
The Canadian-Pakistani theologist Tahir-ul-Quadri, who was the arrangement's main speaker, he became internationaly know when he presented a "Fatwa against suicuideboming and terrosim".
The movement he laid the foundation for, that hosted this friday's arrangement, views himself as a moderate muslim who wishes to maintain the founding principles of Isla, but at the same time fits himself.
Pakistani ambassador to Norway in his speech pointed to the claim that islam is a religion of peace, and that she did not like to hear it being described as radical and militant.
-It pains me when Islam is being called a radical and militant religion. Islam is a religion of peace. There are challenges too show to the world what islam is, says ambassador Riffat Masood.
Around 500 muslim youths from all over Europe was gathered to attend the arrangement at Sarpsborg. Brotherpart (?) is from Norway, but the bigger groups also came from Denmark and sweden, as well as 8 other countries.
Attending this event was also Venstre's (Political party) Abid Raja, extremist invesitagors from PST (Politiet Sikkerhets Tjenste, similar to the FBI), and the guvenor of Østfold Ole Haabeth. Aswell as Pakistani's ambassador was also Iran's ambassador attending.
Østfold was not choosen at random. From the same street here in Fredrikstad a group of young men travel to Syria too go to war.
