    Accountant for a Dragon

    > Be you, half smart man, most townsfolk like you for your smarts.
    > Be walking through the forest, minding your own business (taking a stroll for fun).
    > Be confronted by Big Dragon.
    > Dragon grins
    > Dragon: "I heard you are smart, human... I'll give you an offer you can not refuse."
    > 'Aight, what now?
    > Dragon: "Be my servant or... Or... Or else!"
    > ****, this dragon is going to eat me!
    > You: "Yeah, I don't have a choice do I?"
    > You are sweating profusely.

    > Be taken to dragon lair
    > It gives you a lot of papers and recipes...
    > The horror! You are to be it's accountant!
    > Realise it is ****** pretty fast.

    > You: "TELL ME AGAIN! HOW MANY YEARS HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU PAID YOUR TAXES!?"
    > Dragon is abashed "It... It was 200 years ago..."
    > You: "And how much do you owe the workers!?"
    > Dragon flustered: "I don't know!!!"
    > You: "We are going to have to turn this around, before we get the authorities and the bloody labour union suing this company!"

    The Joys of retired characters that are still around

    This was an interaction between two characters who had become gods. One of whom was Archlich who became the god of life death and magic, who continues to research the mysteries of The Craft to this day, and to the surprise of no one is more than a little crazy.

    Helen: "Don't do that."
    Fester: "Well why the **** not?"
    H: "Remember the time you blew a hole in reality and got your closest friend of roughly 65 million years lobotomized by an Old God? Remember when said lobotomy lead to the very near tentacle rape of said friend's mother? That's why." (This happened during the campaign, it involved the immortals of the party locking themselves in a time accelerated demiplane, long story)
    F: "It's not going to do that!"
    H: "Do you know what it IS going to do?"
    F: "**** no. The whole point of experimentation is that I don't know."
    H:"Of the last 50 times you didn't know, and experimented anyway, how many of those had potentially universe altering consequences? More importantly, in how many of those cases do you afterwards fix the potentially universe altering consequences so that they won't just accidentally happen in said very alterable universe? Follow up - in how many of those cases did you not fix the potential problems, and instead forget all about them while you immediately moved on to test the next thing that you shouldn't have been ******* with instead?"
    F: "Only 7, and the third time wasn't even my fault! It's not like I can do anything about the entirety of the Angelic Choir getting a bug up its ass about "protosapience" and "The inherent sacredness about the interior of the soul". And I'll have you know I haven't forgotten any..."

    ...

    "ALMOST any problem I've directly caused. Now excuse me I have an urgent issue completely unrelated to this conversation to look into."
