More Attribute Points, More Class Skills, More Boons/Drawbacks, More Companions of each race (Besides Humans), more information on each companion, aaaaand More Quests. Loved your CYOA btw~

Maybe a more diverse skill system. Skills are the most fun in these type of CYOA's.
And maybe some more boons and drawbacks.
I feel like the Shinobi are quite underpowered compared to the others. Not really having the skillset you would expect from them, like the "Turn the tables" skill. Shinobi aren't supposed to get hit :p

an actual use for the stat points, more quests, an estimate on how long individual quests take, and some sort of life-span that increases / decreases with certain choices.

Those would be nice and helpful in my opinion.

A man in legend alone, for his stay was never long, and he accepted no followers. Simply content to spread his teachings and aid whomever he could.

Always did have a thing for simple stories like this.

I'm mildly upset that the only pure healer is a Ningyo...
And there's no great offensive mages, either.
At least none that wouldn't but heads with Xuanzang.

I've just been stuck trying to balance this party of mine...
