actually sex is not very open at all. I rarely even see people holding hands (and when i do it is normally only high school people). and I have yet to see anyone kiss out in the open.

My japanese friends have told me that it is actually unusual for couples (even married ones) to have sex in their houses (perhaps it is because japanese walls tend to be thinner than elsewhere) But many people go to "love hotels" to have sex.

In fact, the japanese population is dwindling because people are not interested in sex. (or so says the newspapers) There are campaigns to try to get people to go out and have more sex and the government has setup incentives for people to start families.

Masturbation of the other hand is huge in Japan. It is completely on a whole other level.
I have a friend who works at a spanking bondage shop that only opens late at americanht. She says that old businessmen will come in groups to watch her and to, well, spank her. They aren't allowed to do anything other than that but she said that generally they don't seem to want to do anything other than that. I guess one for the wank bank?

It's weird right? The censorship laws are a little......strange to say the least. You can show a woman having sex with an octopus and it's a piece of art but if you show pubes then you have to cover that poop up.
