I think it was less them making fun of Kaylie, and more that she was so much younger than the rest of the crew that she became an unofficial little-sister to them. As such, her attempts at romance were normally seen more as "cute" than genuine affection. They teased, of course, but everyone got teased.

Here's a true story, but you probably will call bull **** on it. I won't blame you if you do.

When I went to school in San Francisco, a friend of mine worked in a comedy club back in the kitchen. Famous comedians came in there all the time, but one day, ROBIN ******* WILLIAMS comes in to do a set. Now, I'm a HUGE Robin fan, so he got me in to see that show, somehow.

After his set was done and the club was closing down, I stuck around until my friend was done; we lived nearby, and had to walk through some dicy parts of the city to get to the bus stop that would take us home. We lived near each other, so safety in numbers.

So, Robin is hanging out at the bar, chatting it up with the owner, some staff, and a couple other performers who had been there that night. When I wasn't paying attention, he had gone to the bathroom. A few minutes later, I suppose, I walked to the bathroom, I had to race like a pisshorse. Before I open the door, it's opened from the inside, and there not two feet in front of me is ROBIN ******* WILLIAMS.

Of course, he's just a normal guy, but I stared slackjawed at him anyway. He reaches out to shake my hand, and without even thinking about it, I ask him if he washed his hands after he pissed.

The look on his face was absolutely priceless. He said to me, "Whether I washed them or not, you're gonna shake my ****** hand, aren't you?" I did.
