Oxford dictionary or it ain't ****. **** the side definitions, the main definition is what counts. People using the word wrong is what got those other definitions in there.

Well first of all, English is a pluricentric language with no definitive academy, unlike French or other standardized languages. So to claim that the only correct definition is the Oxford one would be quite the bold claim. It would seem that pompous snobbery is still in vogue in the British Isles, even after the Empire's fall.

Bleeding builds destroy it, specially if It bleeds more than one target. Flagellant/houndmaster/jester makes it really easy.

Usually I’ll run either my “indestructible” (leper, crusader, vestal, arblast) layout for maximum survivability. If I’m trying to kill things rather quickly, I’ll go with my “the fallen” (hellion, bounty hunter, highwayman, occultist)

It's not a very good idea to bring a vestal against the flesh, in fact she's honestly not great for the warrens in general.

The vestal works great to reliably cushion the party, as a whole, against moderately sustained damage, and her ranged attacks gives her some variation when healing isn't necessary, very useful for when you have targets with very little HP remaining and you want them finished off before they get another turn.

However, she lacks the ability to provide hard mitigation against powerful, concentrated attacks, and her own attacks lack the punch to effectively drop priority targets or contribute sustained DPS. Those are the most significant characteristics of the warrens, with big tough dudes who make hard hitting attacks. the flesh fight in of itself is a DPS race, so you need as many sources of effective damage chipping away at its massive pile of hit points before it batters your party senseless.
