This is the 2nd time I've made this recipe, and I made it better this time, (and took pictures).
I doubled the original recipe:
(Shrimp used was "Large 31-40") (Onion, Green Onion, and Celery should be cut approx. same size)
2lbs shrimp cut in quarters, 2 cups onions, 1 cup celery, 1/4 cup Flour, stick and a half butter (12tbs), 1 cup water, 1/2 cup tabasco, TWO SCOOPS!!!!!! of garlic, 1 Cup Green Onion, 1/4 Cup parsley (Pic shows 1/2 cup but come on, don't be stupid. I almost was.) and about ~1Tbs of Tony Chachere "More Spice" Creole seasoning.
Add Water and Tabasco, stir in Green Onion, Parsley, Shrimp, Garlic, and Creole seasoning
Simmer and stir for about 20min.
Make a pot of rice
Presto!!! You have Etouffee, (Banana for scale.)
It made enough for 8 meals, and my dinner last night.
