Just got back from my walk, listening to the audiobook of the Sharpe series while I did so.
Pretty low intake so far I thin, I had 40g of cereal, two plums and some OJ for breakfast, the cereal coming in at 146 calories.
For lunch I had the small amount of last nights low fat turkey mince chilli that was left, I also had a 100 calorie bar, some crisp at 116 calories, a yoghurt which was 56 calories, some fruit and a glass of Pepsi Max, which is less than 1 calorie per 250ml and 3 squares of dark chocolate which is 66 calories per 12g, I weighed them, they weighed 11g but I’m still counting it as 66 calories.
For an afternoon snack I’m having another 100 calorie bar, an apple and a big glass of water.
So all in all so far I’ve eaten less than 900 calories, which actually surprised me. But then tonight I’m having a chicken pasta dish in a tomato sauce and while I’m not going to be eating a lot of pasta I imagine that’s going to be the bomb for today.
I’m using a sauce from a jar, but I always add my own stuff to give it some extra flavour, a stock or two, paprika, tomatoes purée, tomato sauce, brown sauce, Salt, black pepper, white pepper, chipotle paste, bit of bbq sauce, plenty of herbs, mustard powder and a touch of curry powder as well.
Naturally adding veg to the dish as well, peppers and onions.
