This is Ally, the little lowchen that I look after, after she ended up attached to me prior to covid ****. I don't officially have ownership of her, but for the most part I have looked after her for the majority of her life after some months between her two owners. She, like my brother, is one of the few things I look forward to waking up for in a day. Though she is riddled with separation anxiety, something I'm not unfamiliar with, she's a moderately well behaved dog, listens well if not overly excited a lot, but being a small scout-like dog she doesn't have the push when shove is needed, but she'll ******* act like does.
Some of you may remember I'm having back troubles, and some of you gave me some support to help me on my way. Part of the problems I'm having is primarily a torn back muscle(from ******** too hard), keeping me from looking after Ally too well (amongst other things), but today I've managed to finally give her something of a proper, lengthy bath, blowdry, and brush without needing to cut it short. Previously, due to muscle pains on my right side causing me severe pain after just a few minutes needing to bend over the tub, I couldn't really bathe and dry her properly, but now I've made some tangible progress with my pain and it doesn't feel so hopeless.
I'm not out of the woods yet, but I just wanted to thank everyone again with their support. Not asking for more, I've been prohibited from doing so anyway, but I wanted to share my dog all fluffed up as it was one of the things I was looking forward to accomplishing thanks to y'alls support.
