On family gatherings my mother, grandmother, aunt - all of the women - would casually discuss how my cousin and I are pretty, but that other cousin was super ugly.

The funniest part being, that other cousin was hot as heck, and really pretty.

She does have a very controlling, hateful, judgmental, and condescending personality, and tbh is a ---- person. But the last thing you'd say about her is that she's ugly.

And nah. We were children back then. She just listened, as a roughly 6y old kid, and later on too, how ugly she is.

It was incredibly ----ty. She may have turned out to be a horrible person, but her circumstances of growing up gotta make you think.

I don't know the circumstances, though that's a very somber roll that kinda fits in.

Also yeah, 6 years old is quite young to even be hearing that. I inferred that it was when you were in at least mid-teens or so or as adults.
