So I have some bad news about the Arisaka, after getting her all cleaned up and going to fire her, it turns out that somewhere between 1945 when she was brought home as a war trophy, and now her firing pin was intentionally disabled. I'm in the process of finding a new bolt (the old one was cracked and pretty unsafe to fire in the first place) that'll be a 100 dollar plus buy that I'll need to save up for, sorry again y'all!
Left to Right: .270 Winchester 6.5mm Jap 5.56mm NATO
What all we shot that day
Place of honor for the war vet
This was where everything went wrong, there was a crack on the back of the bolt that was pretty spooky. And the firing pin was clipped so that the gun can't fire.
