It's a loaded question. If you're even the slighest bit of hesitant in your voice, she'll go all "YOU DON'T LOVE ME!? YOU BASTAHAHAAAARD!" and such.

Always remember; the power of a woman, is making the man the badguy. I don't mean to say it to sound rude or sexist, women are just naturals when it comes to giving us guys guilt and victimize themselves. The number of guys capable of doing the same thing is considerably lower.

When you're heavily emotionally influenced, and going back and forth between aggressive and defensive arguments, it doesn't really matter wether you are a ----- or not. It falls people natural to try and get themselves out on top. The reason why so many guys advice not to get into a such argument with a girl, is because a lot of girls are natural diplomats, acting as if you're the bad guy, and making you believe it.

How? I'd probably say that it's because when girls feel hurt, it's a big deal. But when a guy is hurt, it's more natural for us to just 'deal with it', as we're always taught.

It's more frowned upon and doubted. If a couple gets into a fight, the girl - who is percieved as more vulnerable - will get more support. But if a guy is percieved as vulnerable, he'd still not recieve the same kind of support because of how our society works. Gender-roles and all that. Go hard or go home.

I do realize that there is a tendency for guys to be less emotionally nuanced and less empathetic, but I think that's also partially due to social bias; you're not allowed to show it if you are like that.

Yeah and that comes from both sides. It's not just one gender expecting something from the other gender, it's how we're all taught on how to behave and how to expect to behave. And even more importantly, how we're supposed to be.
