Had one of those d&d sessions where one of the players at the end of it up and left the discord call cause of my DMing, I don't feel like I'm to blame because I had planned for my creature to do the bad thing, and it did. But the player disappered before I could properly say sorry. I ain't gonna take it to heart cause everyone else had fun so it looks like I did the right thing, but it always feels iffy when that happens.
Basically a bad creature carried him away and I made up a little bit for his character being captured, he didn't like that but at the end of the session he was "rescued" and now the creature has revealed itself to the players now that it lured them to it's lair. Poeple have been "Story Captured" before in my sessions where I do the hit to the back of the head knockout but only because their still weak enough to do so. I did give attempts to break free but the dice were against him at that moment and I'd already had done the "Fudging of Die" earlier in the game so i didn't want the whole story to be made up.
Still, hope he doesn't take it to heart, I don't like being blamed for the actions that the monster would do, cause I ain't the monster, The monster is the monster that I have to roleplay, and if the monster ain't a monster, what's the point.
