It is seemingly confirmed by the internal monologue of his (supposedly) imaginary motivational editor, however, how can this internal monologue exist except in Ronnie's mind? Therefore, if Motivation Dude is real and thus contains his own thoughts, then calling himself "not real" violates the veracity of his claim that the roommate is also "not real."
