I think it is true because in my college i talk to black men about scholarships and what they did in highschool. I had a 4.0 in HS, and they get more in scholarships and grants then i do when they had a 2.2. I am in america, idk about the job **** just the college **** i think is true because from my experience it is.

Yeah, that's basically how I imagine people who agree with this look like. That is, they don't also recognize that as a black male you're also far more likely to be born in a working class family, have far less job opportunities, are harassed by police, etc.

Of course, if you're a middle class, educated black male, you probably do it have it pretty good in terms of scholarship applications against white people of the same socioeconomic background

When it comes to average outcomes for average people though, you're simply incorrect.
It is a well-studied fact in the US that when you apply for a job, having a white-sounding name makes you much more likely to get an interview. They gave employers the exact same resume but the one with a white name got called back much more frequently here's one source You need to login to view this link but google it and you'll find plenty more studies
You are one person, and even if you aren't lying (which you probably are), you just don't matter that much. Knowing black people who this happened to is also unimportant. That's why they have studies, because anecdotal evidence can be found on both sides.
