Another beast to be avoided was called Arthropleura who roamed the earth 340-280 million years ago. This horrific centipede/millipede type thing is the largest land invertebrate ever known and could hit 8.5 feet in length. Its body comprises of 30 segments, all with their own pair of legs.
Modern day fleas – of which exist around 2,500 recent species or subspecies – are ectoparasitic insects which typically feed on the blood of mammals or birds. Some special characteristics include: reduction of wings, laterally-flattened bodies, and their small size of about 1-3 mm long. Mesozoic fleas, however, are significantly larger; one of the species from Daohougou had females which measured an average of 14 mm long – almost twice as long as males, which measured 8 mm.

The Titanoptera are an extinct order of insects from the Triassic period. They were very large by comparison with modern insects, some having wingspans of up to 36 centimetres (14 in).
They were related to modern grasshoppers, but much larger, with grasping forelegs and elongated mandibles. Another distinctive feature was the presence of prominent fluted regions on the forewings, which may have been used in stridulation. The general shape and anatomy of the Titanopterans suggests that they were predators
And an extra one cause frogs are cool
Beelzebufo was an extremely large frog native to Madagascar in the Late Cretaceous. It is thought to be the largest frog ever to have existed. Beelzebufo was closely related to, and strongly resembles, the modern pacman frog of South America. Beelzebufo is thought to be large enough to have preyed on small dinosaurs.
