In the 60s, an author of a semi popular fantasy series sees a documentary at a movie theater about an ancient ruin in Asia. Engraved on the wall is a symbol he designed for his newest book. To sum up, he gets obsessed, goes to an Asian country in a civil war, finds the emblem, eldritch **** happens, and he wakes up in delirium at an Indian hospital.
