This here is an exercise in journalism. If you want an accurate, in depth, non-biased, assessment of the the models mentioned welcome to **********. It was my 4th year attending the show there were hundreds of vehicles on display from 30+ companies. If you want some more detail on the show and vendors check out http://www.montrealautoshow.com/en/ for more details. Let me know what you guys think of the cars or my writing (pls be gentle) in the comments below. On with the show.....
What car is the first car you see at a Canadian car show? A ******* LEAF. Nissan and Lexus shove their nuts right in your face before you even cross the ticket check. With the Chevy Bolt and Teslas pulling a range of over 200 miles each (and fuel cells being better in every conceivable way/pay attention I will keep saying it) it's kinda hard to justify the Leaf's 80-ish mile range and cheap interior for $41,000CAD. Lexus shows us their range of SUVs but I don't care because all SUVs (except G-wagen, some Jeeps, Range Rovers/Defenders) are automotive fanservice for soccer moms who think they are too good for station wagons. Their husbands are so insecure about their manhood that they'd rather blow their cash on an ugly pointless gas guzzler that can't handle a large puddle than drive a minivan./rant
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Penis Hard; Extricate from Vehicle. Another SUV I don't care about but this one's electric. Now I know electric vehicles are the future and that battery tech has come a long way since the fabled GM EV1 and 1st gen Prius, but in all the press, and the videos, and the hybrid dick sucking, and the plug-in marketing and hooh-hah so many are completely overlooking Hydrogen fuel cells as a viable alternative. Same drive motors, but no stupid polluting batteries that take ten hours to charge, no depletion, and an added benefit of being a self contained powerstation that emits only water vapor. Batteries are fine but fuel cells are inherently much closer in range/usability as a normal car but with none of the sustainability or emission issues.
Mitsubishi Mirage/G4. This is a car that doesn't want to live. I miss the EVO.
KIA. Remember when owning a KIA was a public resignation of life? When did they get handsome? Dare say it....desirable even?
The Stinger GT is for the subi-bros when their gauged earring gfs show them the positive pregnancy test. 3.3 V6 Turbo makes a meaty 365 hp tho so it's not bad.

Monte Carlo bars make it go faster as does the writing on the plastic engine cover. As do the four holes in the rear that mimic exhaust tips
