- ****** minimum wage that's only NOW being raised in some states
- Racial profiling by cops
- Women will get paid less for doing the same job as a man (a proven fact because people have sent in identical applications but with one as male and one as female and the company/org gave the man a higher starting wage than the female)

The rest do it because one of these conditions apply - They can't do any other job, They want the respect that comes from the uniform without actually earning it, They are following other family members footsteps. It has never been harder to join the military than it is now. The standards are higher than ever.

That and the military tends to underpay a lot of its people. If you went in as an officer with an engineering degree you'd be making significantly less than you'd make in the private sector.

Everyone who claims racial profiling then points to the same 3 or 4 cases in the last DECADE where cops were in the wrong, in a country that has more than 900,000 law enforcement officers.

Do facts become falsehoods because of the gender of the person presenting? There are years worth of research in to this very subject, and you refute these conclusions because I am male.

Soldiers join because they "cant do any other job", oh so they pick one that has a 50% drop out rate? Makes sense. They want respect of the uniform without earning it? So a tour in active war zones where they fight and die to save themselves and their units isn't worthy of respect? Tell them that. Following other family members footsteps? Generations of men and women willing to fight and die for their country? They want to live up to their family legacy of duty, honor, country? How would that in any way not putting themselves on the line for their beliefs?
