Masterpiece Concordia GraduationTinmazterRank: #4744BlocksBlocks prevnext Prev Next Hello Guys. It's been a while and I want to thank all of you for taking the time to check out my post. For you who don't know me I am a goldsmith who just now graduated and my mission is to show everyone how extensive this craft is. I present my final piece made for my graduation day titled** "Concordia"**. It is a harpin which you can also wear as a necklace. The wings are able to be screwed loose with the hairpin and configured any way you like. The gold frame is made of 18 kt gold, so are the wings. The frame where the necklace goes in is first grade silver. The pin is made of 14 kt red gold for sturdiness and capped off with a sapphire. In the gold frame you can see a beautiful 1.6 ct natural green and yellow parti sapphire and in the corners are 4 diamonds. It took me 100-120 hours to complete. The idea behind my creation is as follows. Harmony. It is something that eludes alot of us. What makes us live in harmony and what gives us the balance we need. And most importantly. What gives our world and mankind balance. With my masterpiece I wanted to spread awareness and make people think how they can live in harmony with themselves and our world and what is needed to experience fulfillment in their lives. Made with Art Deco and Art Nouveau in mind. Yin and Yang. I hope to get people to think if the direction we are going is sustainable not only within themselves but also outwardly.
