While i do like the show, and Tom as Loki is always good along with exploring the time stuff, i feel there were some odd choices to make here and there.
1. Neutering Loki of his charm and powers and making him second beat to a 'better' Loki, aka Sylvie. I hear many say that he wasn't himself here and can see where this is coming from as it would seem jarring as this kicks off from his taste of defeat in Avengers, I do like seeing Loki react to how his life plays out, losing those he cares for and finding out that he does matter to his family and being affected by all this, hence he makes a true friend in Mobius later on, getting along and taking advice from other Loki's and ultimately learning the hardway of being betrayed by someone he thought he could trust. Hopefully they let Tom bring back the Loki pizazz in S2, Doctor Strange 2 and also whatever else he'll be in. Tom and Richard are best versions of the God of Mischief imo.
2. the TVA, while i do like that they brought in the infamous TVA and everyone's fave time traveling/controlling character Kang (He Who Remains here or Immortus in here), i can see why people think this just ruins the whole MCU (Marvel Cinemetic Multiverse now?) with making it be about predeterminalism rather than free will.
what are your guy's thoughts and if you could rewrite things to make Loki better, what would you do? Also, personally, i want Loki to don his Agent of Asgard costume from the comics/games going forward as him being changed by his journey in the series and coming out a changed god.
