As some of you may already know, I broke up with my girlfriend of 4years&3months on Tuesday. It's been really taking its tole on us both and utterly shattered my desire to do anything productive.(even though it'd probably help keep my mind in a healthier spot.) If you're interested in more about that for offering suggestions or advice, or you're just ******* nosey, follow this link: You need to login to view this link Otherwise, enjoy this half-assed content.. Maybe I'll actually finish it next week.. PART-1: You need to login to view this link PART-2: You need to login to view this link PART-3: You need to login to view this link So hmmm.. How to scribe a center-line on a knife that's already been ground to 1/16th and therefore sloped on the sides. Maybe I could've just used the 1/16th size drill-bit, I honestly can't say, I didn't think about that at the time as an option, but it could possibly workInstead, I thought about it and scribbed my secondary bevel line. Then I got the idea that "Hey, these are really accurate calipers, I bet I could just scribe my center-line with these!"So I set that **** to a freaking TINY 1/64th of an inch and actually managed to get a great scribe line! (with the part nearest the bottom of the screen)Here I took a picture of my SOMEHOW LINED-UP HOLES, with the brass pins in position. I can't believe I actually managed to get everything so accurate.. I only had to file one hole a little bit to make everything fit.Random filler picture of scrap metal that I cleaned out of my dads shop today.Random filler picture of the DISTURBING MESS that blood wood makes all over everything.Began rough-shaping the handle.Nearly finished the the entire outside perimeter of the handle scales, but I went to Wal-Mart with my family instead. That's it for this week. Sorry for the shortness and not getting it all done. Have a great weekend FJ Very Special Thanks to My Patrons!
