Karroll Learning to draw (art post)karroll art, FurryArtAdjust content blockingContent Blocking nextrandomComment Prev Next Here's what I was working on last night until I fell asleep at the reasonable hour of 4am. I think I've decided to call this character Felix, a sort of fox person I suppose. This time I worked with a mostly tablet hand drawn sketch then used arc and curve tools to get smooth lines in just the right shape I need and want. Still think the eyes are a bit wonky. A little back story. Ever since I've been a kid the sensation of pencil on paper was the equivalent of fingers on a chalkboard for others, so I never really got into art despite trying. Now however, I've come back to try again with technology, so over the past two weeks I've started again, using blender 2.8's new 2D animation suite, which doubles as an regular art program So personally I'm just excited that I got something out that I don't hate, since before I was so discouraged from my sensitivity issues in my hands that I never really thought about trying again for years.Your browser does not support the video tag.an example of the arc tool I usedYour browser does not support the video tag.Your browser does not support the video tag.erasing is hardSo I used a circle tool to help with initial sketch just so that I could visualize where I was starting because I'm still studying facial shapes, so it helps a bit for now since I'm new. Then you can see how shaky my sketch work is. I tried to focus less on perfect lines initially on sketch layer so that I didn't waste too much time early on. Last week I spent a lot of time on redrawing sketch lines too many times, and I thought to myself that I probably could afford to be less ocd about it as long as I get a good idea of where the final line art would be.fixed his right ear's lines so that it didn't look like the ear was behind the headadded shadow/light and hair layers. also last edit before I increased eye sizethen for reference, This is where I was last week, with a tim burton meets night in the woods look, that was completely hand drawn no use of line tools I'm going to start a list, for whenever I post art. It'll help me organize things here aaaannd it'll let people who want to see my poor scribbles know when I post next +17 -Favorite +Favorite Unsub from karroll Subscribe to karroll Unblock User's Content Block User's Content Sub/Block Channels art:UploadUnblockBlockSubUnsubsubs: 436 FurryArt:UploadUnblockBlockSubUnsubsubs: 68 Want FJ to keep running?
