Eh, almost nothing in that movie was accurate to Greek mythology anyway.

Indeed, Zeus didn't screw any of the people, animals or objects in the movie.

It being an animation of greek pottery, it would've featured greek women and thus the dark shade would only come from the pottery itself. It wouldn't make them black. But this is a dress up, not a blackwash. So recuf's comment is still invalid.

And then when they're physically there at the end instead of on the pottery or as statues, they are also black.

They told the story because they were there on Olympus with the Gods. They watched the whole damn thing happen in the first place.

I figured that was the shade they picked to be consistent with how they looked like on the pottery earlier. I know I shouldn't respond much more since people tend to shower me with red thumbs, but poop happens I suppose.

No, there's a correlation between your consistently poor reception and your actions and words.

Dude, it's fine. I still find that my argument is well reasoned. I'm getting a lower digital count. poop happens. It's not that big of a difference from earlier.

Cool, but the character was still black. Also, who the screw cares? It's a screwing Disney movie in which Hercules literally punches Hades' face in for being evil, even though Hera was the evil one originally.

I'm not the one that's getting that emotional about it though. I don't care that much about it, I merely pointed out something logical considering where Hercules is located and the culture he lives in. I'm going to embrace the red thumbs though, If you feel that strongly about it, I can't really stop you guys.

I mean sure, it was voiced by americans, but going by the context of the story, black women doesn't make much sense. You're free to red thumb me if you prefer though. Although I'd prefer if you talked to me instead.

Why would anyone care what makes sense in a children’s movie featuring a grossly misrepresented parody of a Greek tragedy?

    Just let people enjoy things.

I wasn't aware that this detail would change the movie in any way though.

Change it from what? It was an original movie based on absolutely nothing real.

What you interpret the nature of their skin color as doesn't change the experience of the movie. If I interpret it as something different why would that ruin your fun? As for basis, It was based on Greek mythology, although loosely. It's like the vikings series. Intends to capture a loose feel of a culture, getting a lot of thing wrong but goes for style over substance. If don't think that interpretation of singing pottery women as a particular skin color should be able to change your opinion on the movie. If it does, that's surprising.

Change it from what though?? From the original story of Heracles?

You’re choosing to be annoyed that the skin color of very minor characters isn’t true to the original story, of all the parts of that movie that were inaccurate?

Choosing to get angry at such minor things is why people end up alone and depressed. Let people enjoy things. And let yourself enjoy life.

    No, my argument was this.

    >>#77

Then people got mad for some reason. You stated I would ruin the enjoyment by saying this. That it would change the experience for people for the worse for pointing this out. I pointed out that nothing would change from hearing this point of view. You keep repeating the question. I don't know why.

Your -----ing about skin color detracts from people’s enjoyment due to negativity. Stop. There’s no point.
