Is it 'irony' that a white woman was telling a black woman how she should feel/act re: black on black crime, or does a different term work better? Either way, this person is an American I would be proud to support

Ah, you haven't heard about false consciousness, have you?
False consciousness comes from Marxist theory that was intended to explain why the working class would not revolt and why they supported capitalism.

According the György Lukács, whose ideas would be further developed by the Theodor W. Adorno and the Frankfurt School, one must never confuse the true opinions and beliefs of the workers with the actual opinions and beliefs of the workers. Since false consciousness can take a hold of some workers, maybe even all workers, and thus the workers are not the voice of the workers.
However, educated people who have never dirtied their hands by any work in their lives, may be the voice of the workers if they express class consciousness.

This idea has been furthered in America and applied to black people. If black people say America is not inherently or systemically ------, they are suffering from false consciousness and their opinions are not to be taken as expressions of black people, but of black people suffering from false consciousness.

    >Pictured Marxists bending over backwards to justify how their ideas are still valid even though observable reality shows they aren't.

I swear to god 90% of Marxist theory is coming up with convoluted ways to make up words or change definitions so they can technically right.

tl;dr Black people who express views contrary to --- are suffering from false consciousness and thus their opinions are not the true voices of black people, but white people can be the true voice of black's opinions.
Thus, white people can know what black people truly think while black people can't

    Thanks for the rewording.

I agree that's physically possible, but it seems unlike to be the majority of the cases.

I just gave you a bit of the history for stupid ideas that everyone on the surface knows to be bull----.

I mean, even knowing the ideas, it's still bull----, who the ---- determines "the true voice" of the workers, blacks etc. but you understand why the contradiction exist a bit more.

I do appreciate understanding other people's viewpoints better, even when it's a case like this where I strongly think they are being dumb, so I don't mind someone explaining that background.

Sure, but I was just pointing out the irony and how the hatred they get is unrelated to racism.
