Don’ t Work Hard.
Wait. what exactly is the message being conveyed here? “Feel free
to sabotage the product fer the sake of making your own job easier”?
This worker just removed 47% of the material he was assigned to
transport! If one of his , removed : of his cube to
simply make '. smaller cube. he' d probably move faster, too.
Also. if the guy is going to carve up his cube. why wouldn' t he carve it
into a cylinder? It would be as mobile as '." sphere, but he' d only have
to remove 22% of his cube. Add it would require less time to carve.
While we' re on the subject... how fast did this worker carve a sphere
out of '.'t." cube? And with that little knife?! It looks like he didn' t lose
any headway at all. Do you know how hard it is to carve a perfect
sphere out of '. cube? That' s some Ron Swanson shit right there.
If the goal is to deliver an entire cube. then the intelligent guy has failed.
If the goal is to deliver as much of the material as quickly as possible,
then he should have just cut the ! corners off the cube. An octagonal
prism would work just fine. with less material and time wasted.
Of course. when these workers arrive at their destination, they may
be required to stack the objects. In this case. the intelligent worker
has delivered an object that won' t stack. Bravo, intelligent worker!
