Well, I suppose that this story provides the answer pretty admirably in its own unique way, even though it most certainly isn't at all what you would normally expect from the likes of a typical Death Battle in literary fanfiction form. An oldie but a goldie, this incredibly short and borderline plotless (yet still very cleverly written and put-together) little quasi-follow-up to Alphys' Adventures is basically an almost-but-not-quite-crackfic clip-show reel of Alphys and Undyne competing in various wacky, bizarre and often quite heavily pop-culture-parodying miniature contests with each other, ranging from blatantly ripping off classic Nicktoon intros and testing to see which one of themselves is more tickle-resistant to singing iconically cheesy songs, competing in the crappy off-brand Temmie version of Mario Kart, going on crack-shipping playdates, having an over-the-top wrestling match and foodfight with each other, watching Burgerpants get raped by Nice Cream Guy, fighting each other in an obvious video-game simulation of the game that they're already in themselves, blah blah blah, you get the idea... however, what really elevates this story above all others of its kind is that one particular scene that takes place during chapters 4-6, in which Undyne shrinks herself and discovers the true joys of sleeping giantess Alphys, iconically including being able to sneak inside her head (through the ears in this case) while she's asleep and take control over her brain to exact spiteful revenge on her by publicly humiliating her as jealousy-induced punishment for her clearly vast overall superiority to poor Undyne in the grand scheme of things by making her dance naked with the Amalgamates (and have sex with them in the process) on public television. Seriously, that one scene alone is just SO ******* good and so goddamned hilarious that it (unfortunately) caused an entire series of Giantess fics to spawn from this story, resulting in Fetishistic Boogaloo, the infamous Motherly ******* and the unbelievably ********* Vengeful Torment (and Incestual Apocalypse, which I personally prefer to pretend never existed). Anyway, in conclusion, the story eventually decides once and for all that Alphys and Undyne are pretty much equally awesome and has them completely blow up the entire universe in a ginormous collision of Falcon Punches...which, of course, later ends up getting completely retconned out of the timeline so that the aforementioned (and quite frankly ******* disgusting) Giantess series that the story evidently spawned could commence. Overall, however, it still stands on its own as an easily well-above-average literary product for what it is and is quite possibly the weirdest, funniest and most charming Death Battle ever devised between video game characters so far.
