Yeah, I thought Northern Europe somewhere, I guess it doesn't help that in your own language J is pronounced the same as Y.
We all loves mistake in pronunciation, I moved to France when I was 14, was sent to a French school, oh I received many laughs during class.

Not related, but I thought I would post a work of my own:

Wandering through space
I notice the serene emptiness, engulfed in beauty
Star struck, I observe the bright lights
Glimmering, they shimmer
Lost, but comfortable
I keep searching ever so deep
The colors, I…I am left speechless
Bright blue, dancing in elliptical movements, in a hazel shade
Can’t breath, I’m speechless
I’m now sucked into the black hole
Riveting through the layers, as it stretches and warps my mind,
As I exit the other side, I’m hurled through to Earth
I notice the rain striking my stiff body
I see her, looking at me, standing right there
Not a word is said, eyes deep in mine
Smile crossing side to side
I still am breathless
Paralyzed as she leans in, and fills me with life.
While I though I was exploring the skies
I was merely lost in her eyes.

Judging by your fine poem I think you are a fair poem analysis-er... mind reading my poem?

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Life is bread
Cows go moo

It took me 4 courses to achieve a deep poem like this. Thoughts?

Well written. Keep up the superb work. Few people achieve such emotion and life in such deep and intimate words.

Is it really that hard to pronounce "J"?

Jee?

J is pronounced really differently in other countries...

example in Finland...
Jii

No, it is pronounced differently in other LANGUAGES. In English, "J" is pronounced the same no matter where you go in the world. Not quite sure why I got thumbed down when I was simply looking for insight into what it is like for someone who has English as a second language.

OP is Swedish, where "J" has a "Y" sound to it, I don't know if it's that way in all worlds or only certain words, but take "Ja" for example, it's pronounced "ya".

Here's a sonnet I made for my freshman English class. It's not that good (I'm in high school, after all), but if you can guess what game it's based on, I love you.

Wardogs soar over peaceful ocean skies
From the west the aggressors come to fight
Traitors on both sides spreading deadly lies
Steering two nations toward endless night

Deceit sends the innocent to their graves
Heroes have fallen amidst the great strife
The hounds of war seal the fate of the brave
The bold have died under a turncoat’s knife

But legends will show that heroes don’t die
In their deaths the valiant rise once more
Four black birds rise in the treacherous sky
Dark angels dance in the heavenly war

Those who were feared as peace's destroyers
Return to the people as its defenders.

Gif unrelated.
