america fuck yeah

This video was created as an example of the importance of filming the police. Video provides transparency, accountability, and an accurate account of incidents that occur. It is no secret that the United States has a serious problem with police abuse, brutality, and corruption. It is essential for civilians to document their encounters with police officers to ensure transparency, accountability, and safety to all of those involved.

Police departments have, for too long, tried to bully, intimidate, threaten, arrest, or otherwise harass law abiding citizens from recording the activities of law enforcement in public. Enough is enough! It is time for all of us to take a stand and expose police brutality when we witness it. Even if the officers behavior is correct, and justifiable, we still encourage the recording of the police activities for the transparency and accountability that is desperately needed in many departments.

If you see something, film something, the freedom of press begins with you!

Okay, I don't normally get involved in political or activist based discussions however I have an issue with people and the police.

There are a lot of people in the age range of 15-30 who absolutely hate the police and everything they do. They hate the existence of a law enforcement, especially when they get caught breaking a law. The first thing that people have to remember is that the police uphold the law not write the law. This is something people tend to forget they are following instructions.

Second thing is with these damn videos trying to show the "truth" its a video, its edited down to what they want us to hear. How can you justly watch this and not question where is there rest of the story? All i am seeing it the police throw a punch. What happened before the punch? what did the person do first? What caught the officers attention? ect.

stopping now since people don't care at all and just want to hate on authority.

Police dont just have a job, they put their lives on the line everyday.
What do you do at your job? What risk are involved?
These men and women have to protect the community, sometimes with their lives.
Police do this for us everyday, just for a paycheck to fee their kids.
Mistakes happen sure, and yes there are some bad apples, but put yourself in their shoes.
Go work and imagine it might be the last time you ever see your family again because you'll be going home in a body bag.
