Whose Line is it Anyway?
Actually, only the surface of the planet is 70% water. Meanwhile, only 0.02% of the planet's mass is water.
And a shark has a mass mostly made up of organs and bone.
You got so many things wrong holy fuck
The only part of a shark that's bone is their teeth. Their skeletons are made of cartilage.

If anything, I would say the difficulty most accurate to the books would probably be Mythic (Legendary with all skulls active).
Oddly enough, Mjolnir's shields were reverse-engineered from a Jackal's shield gauntlet. And in "
The Fall of Reach
", they even said they were able to improve on it enough that it was stronger than a Sangheili's shield.
What you're most likely remembering is in the prequel book (again, "
The Fall of Reach
") where the Master Chief and the other members of Blue Team were attempting to deploy a nuke inside of a Covenant ship and Sam, one of MC's best friends that he was trained with for over a decade, got hit in a side. That would have prevented him from being able to return to the vacuum of space, so he decided to sacrifice himself by staying behind to allow the other Spartans to escape while he detonated the nuke manually.
Fun fact; the addition of shields to the Mark V suit made it far more resilient to energy-based attacks, but it actually weakened its protection from ballistic attacks.
If I remember correctly, Spartans were designed after the suits because the energy source made the suits so heavy that no normal soldier could use it.
You're half right. The MJOLNIR project and the SPARTAN project were separate when conceived but MJOLNIR was initially thought to be impossible due to that reasoning. The SPARTAN program's first generation (which Johnson was a part of) was entirely separate from MJOLNIR and ultimately failed due to the early augmentation technology.
It was only after the SPARTAN II generation that the UNSC thought to use MJOLNIR armor with the new and improved SPARTAN troops. It was purely coincidence that the two technologies were researched at the same time and worked so well together.
