Meant spartan more in mentality than actual technique, but pretty sure they used calisthenics too, just not exclusively i guess.

im a gym man myself like to lift heavy, although i do yoga/body weight work outs for improved balance, strength gains are limited from using body weight

Thats the damning part about poor culture. There is a lack of reverence for education.

Pretty much, but I take advice from Youtube fitness gurus like Elliott Hulse, and Omar Isuf.

What are your squat deadlift and bench prs? Right now I've got a 215lb bench, 405lb squat, and a 405lb deadlift.

190lb bench 310lb deadlift 180-200lb squat not sure on my max though. i watch all of Elliotts videos, matt ogus as well
