Tower is counted as an objective in league, as it currently stands people still prioritize dragons which is inefficient, the only people that should be taking >1 dragon currently are devourer junglers that can solo it, you get no exp and no gold for it atm, and games don't last long enough to get all 5 tiers of the buff - Bonus damage, more movespeed, more tower damage, more minion damage and a steroid to all 4 at the 5th stack of killing dragon, turrets give gold for everyone and open the map up to make it easier to get wards in the enemy jungle and stuff like that. Along with changes to turret resistances it's not uncommon to get 1 or 2 towers for an early kill toplane if their jungler is botlane or midlane and snowball into a massive lead.

Our mid-game death timers are absurdly high compared to what everyone is used to, the winning team is usually slightly higher levelled too, so you could be stomping, mess up once, get aced and lose an inhib or maybe even the game for it because of the midgame DT's.

Baron is never worthless for us thankfully, if we can get it for free, it's very hard to push against a baron minions and if you don't have absurd waveclear or strong tanks you'll lose turrets hard.

Do minions after tier 3 tower is taken get any sort of buff? I think Smite's equivalent to Baron Minions is our Phoenix Minions, which some gods can't fight at their end build (IE Ares). The buff that represents Baron in my mind is more like dragon and it does nothing for minions. There isn't one in smite that does anything for them unfortunately, as it'd be a really contested objective (aside from phoenixes, which are the tier 3 towers). Mid game death timers in smite are rather high I've had 90 seconds before and it takes you about 60-70 seconds to walk from fountain to fountain

teir 3 turrets, after that is inhib, when it's destroyed you get a super minion in every wave, it buffs the minions in the wave and is way tankier and does way more damage than the others, all 3 inhibs = 2 supers per wave and it's basically gg.

Smite it's just the entire wave gets absurdly strong, both high damage and high durrability.

That's what baron does to them, so you imagine this huge huge super, with insane resists and all that shit. It's pretty much a death sentence.

I'd imagine. Smite has no such objectives. Fire Giant gives a 25% damage boost and a good chunk of health regen when you get it, and a few prots. Outside of that's entirely worthless so if you have a low dps team you're not going to do anything with it. :c My last game was shit, just got a tank jung, we gave up the best two rotation gods in the game, I mis purchased, then got my lane camped by 4 of the enemy team (jung, supp, adc, and mid) and the mid didn't get punished for it because ours D/C'd. Also our solo lost hardcore in his 1v1, our ADC couldn't get rolling so he fell off and our damage output was basically 0.

well you have to realise that you cant win every game but you should be able to win enough games to climb.

it's a VERY slow climb when losses yield more pain than a win gives back. It's much more evident in 1v1 where losing means I drop 10-25 points and winning can give 6 or 8 on average..

Thing is, anything below like plat 2 is literally easymode. Like all you need to do is not give a shit, sometimes you get the most random comps ever. Especially in lower elo people can legit play what they want and still win, I went on my friends bronze account once to just have some fun, and I'm an adc main and awful at mid and top, like drastically, but like, you literally will be surprised how many little individual things you pick up the more you actually try to pick them up. Just like, farming better, roaming better, managing waves better. Games are legit won and lost by bouncing waves off of turrets after 1 simple kill.

I don't want to disrespect you and call you shit, because that's not fair, but bronze really is easymode, something like 75-80% of all players are in silver and bronze, literally just focus on yourself, don't give a single fuck what your teammates are doing and just farm it out focus on towers, don't try to contest every single objective etc etc, I see people all the time saying how it's impossible and it's "This team" etc but there's a reason challengers can win 99% of games in anything pretty much below plat I & II

In League maybe, or DotA, but I can't say that I see matches of smite going the same way. The focus isn't at all on the objectives (Like Baron and whatever the other is in league) but on tower push. The Baron equivalent (Fire Giant) is worthless in some match ups and, a lot of times, you get more for the team out of pushing a tier 1 or tier 2 tower than you do for taking it with the whole team up and completely uncontested. I mean, there is a limit to what one player can do is all I'm saying.
Also, rubberbanding is absurdly high in smite. To the point that I lost a match because me and my team got diecided (all 5 died at once) and the enemy team (who had still yet to take tier 2 towers in any lanes) killed our middle tower, middle phoenix, and titan before a single one of us was able to get up. The enemy team did this with all 3 phoenixes (tier 3 towers, whatever) down and with only two team mates, neither tanking tower, they just let minions walk in and lead them to victory. This team also had no objective (ie Baron) buffs, no expensive potions, and we were all end build. But a lucky kill at their titan let the two of them rush all the way through to our base and drop the entirety of it with no resistance.

When I'm 8/2 and won my lane 6 minutes in and still can't rotate enough to make up for my team feeding there's not a lot I can do. A team game requires team work and I can't do that on my own.
