He cant even level up a user profile because he doesnt have one. Which means dude here acknowledged him and acknowledged anon had atleast a modicum of control over his actions.
the most you can or even should do for anon is just ignore them when they act like this or shitpost right back at em.

kek comic edit
defamation would be bad if it brought negative views towards her. If you edit a comic, its the editor thats in the question, not the OC maker, especially online.
Besides most of it is true, it has nothing to do with racism and whatnot.
On the other hand, I also agree it IS her work. but then again, she shouldnt have posted online if she didnt want her work to be touched at all
>Brought negative views towards her
The fuck are you on. The comic paints her with a certain political alignment, which would cause the groups of people holding an opposing view to dislike her or her comics. Literally the definition of bring negative view towards her.
>Editor's fault, not the OC maker.
We know that, what about the others who saw the edits before the original and didn't know about it.
>It has nothing to do with racism
The fuck do you mean, the comment didn't mention racism, you brought it up.
>She shouldn't have posted online if she didn't want her work to be touched
Youtubers shouldn't make online video if they didn't want other people to steal their content, see how stupid that sounds, do you never think before you type or is one action the most you can accomplish with the two brain cell you own.
The internet is one of the most effective way to spread your work and get the widest audience, even YouTuber has rights to their content and have copyright laws protecting them, even if their online video can be easily taken/edited. That would be like asking someone to not drive a car if they didn't want to get hurt in an accident.
Everyone knows that you can't prevent online edits (tons of comics get it, like those nipple edits), she still has the right to be upset about it, you dumb fuck.
>The comic paints her with a certain political alignment, which would cause the groups of people holding an opposing view to dislike her or her comics
All of her comics are still in their original form on her official website, her official twitter, her official facebook, and probably a few other places I don't know of. Now any rational person who can't tell how obviously edited these are is going to get mad at one edit, go to her site, and see that the edit wasn't actually a reflection of her beliefs. Or they would see her statement on twitter where she clearly states that they don't reflect her beliefs. For fucks sake, they edited her comics and posted them on shitty meme sites, they didn't hack her accounts and replace the originals, so this "defamation" is about as serious as someone editing a politician's tweet to say "Gas the jews 420 blaze it" or some other such nonsense
>what about the others who saw the edits before the original and didn't know about it.
covered this already
>The fuck do you mean, the comment didn't mention racism, you brought it up.
yeah I don't disagree with you here
>Youtubers shouldn't make online video if they didn't want other people to steal their content
That has nothing to do with what he was saying, do you never think before you type or is one action the most you can accomplish with the two brain cell you own? A true equivalence would be "youtubers shouldnt make online videos if they aren't aware that people might take some of those videos and edit them for memes". Fuck off with that false equivalence.
>People will go to her website and check out her stuff
Just as there could be people going to her page, there could be many who would boycott her page or straight up avoid her future stuff, that's still a chunk of potential supporter she would had lost due to a poor first impression from the edits, which falls into defamation.
>Editing a politician tweet to say "gas the jews 420 blaze it"
The only problem is that it's not one tweet edit but a bunch comic, so people could get the impression that's all her comics is about. But yes, if the edit paints a politician as a Hitler supporter, it is defamation. It's one of those things where if it were brought to court, the defamer would likely be considered in the wrong, but no one really cares enough to do it since it's not a big deal. Hitler edits have also solidify as a meme, so it's also easier to identify it as a joke compared to these.
I do agree though that any rational person would find out that the comics was an edit, not to mention the edits may not harm her as much since the number of people who would straight up hate/avoid her stuff from the edits likely wouldn't be that big.
>Edit them for memes
There are edits for memes, then there is editing for pushing a political agenda. If she had got mad about people making a Ronnie edit or something, I wouldn't bother defending her as much. The problem would be when they edit her comic to align with a political group that she doesn't want to be part of.
I was bashing on the fact that his solution to not get trolled is to not upload shit online, not the memes edit. You can't avoid the biggest form of mass media if you are trying to spread a work, and people know uploading anything on the internet know it has its own risk.
I then added the "youtuber has rights" to support my statement that people uploading stuff online still has the rights to be protected from the risk, thus justifying her tweet to remove the edits.
>"youtubers shouldnt make online videos if they aren't aware that people might take some of those videos and edit them for memes"
The statement still holds true with this sentence if you take out the meme part since it's not really a meme (maybe it could be when all the hate on the topic mentioned above blows over). Ronnie and dabbing is the meme you are thinking of, rapefugee and white genocide isn't exactly interchangeable.
The difference here is between between a meme edit and pushing a certain view. I don't think it's right that Vsauce got tons of his video title edited, but it's not a big deal since its relatively harmless. Again, this situation is a little different because her's pushes a political agenda that is heavily divided on both side, thus potentially inciting unwarranted hate.
Some of Vsauce's edits imply that he's a murderer, guilty of statutory rape, suicidal, and extremely racist, but according to you that's "relatively harmless" compared to poorly edited comics implying Sarah Andersen holds alt-right political views.
Dude, I like this person's comics, and I don't wish her ill, but this is such a trivial thing to get upset over. If she starts getting harassed en masse by people who are too dumb to check the source, that's a different scenario, but given how easy it is for a person to check said source and spread the info that these are fake, I'd be willing to put down money that that's never going to happen.
Also, if you don't think the alt-right is a meme, you've been taking infinitereaper too seriously.
