multiple choice tests are useful for subject material that is very wide and would be nearly impossible to learn and remember. Just because they aren't used properly doesn't make them useless.

It's so everyone has an equal opportunity to pass. The idiots can pass just as much as the smart ones (if they're lucky)

Questions like "what statements are required to come to the right conclusion in the question above?" with alternatives "First one, second one, both, neither" are kinda tedious.

Swedish national tests use that stuff. They're mostly for grading intelligence, speed, understanding etc. 5h straight worth of A/B/C/D questions.

Never done any tests based on other things than what you were forced to read?

My uni (Strathclyde) does that, but Glasgow uni is having theirs the now, so it must just be a decision made by the uni's exam boards.

well he seems to have gotten over the loss of the Ponds, which is good because The Doctor isn't the kind to let that linger on and on forever

Now the story itself was a bit of a nothing, and in many ways very exploitative. We have the new companion and all the intrigue of 'the woman twice dead'

And then of course the return, again, of the Great Intelligence
It seems clear that it will be returning again, probably something to do with the storyline of Clara (and maybe the big "Doctor's biggest secret")

I'm still rather shocked they chose to bring a villain from two mostly missing stories in such a significant way

But to be honest I'm more intrigued by the 'Big Announcement' that Doctor Who Online seem to have caused a bit of hype for

Oh and Tennant and Rose will be back for the 50th Special
I expected it but not looking forward to it
