Just figured I'd mention this. Both time I upgraded my computer (ram and new gpu) I spent ages, cus I was scared of using to much force. It was really surprising just how hard I had to press to get it in (that's what she said?). Just make sure you're doing it right, and then push til it sticks. I have two different kinds of ram in my motherboard, one is really easy to push in. the other really hard. Just letting you know that there are some differences too.

Yeah, 650Ti should handle most games fairly well. But if you have a chance then definitely go for 750 Ti, it's around 150 bucks right now.

Sounds like a plan. Lastly, is building a PC fairly simple? I'm scared I'll be forceful with some of the components when it comes to installing it.

I would recommend watching a video tutorial. Text based tutorials can cause some confusion.

I shall watch tutorials. Would I still be able to play most games fairly well on a 650? I'm not the best for money as of right now so I have to stick to cheaper means, but if it'll be worth it I can change to the 750.

I had that same motherboard. It's a nice choice, never gave me problems. And reading below he is correct. Most cpu's come with a stock cooler
User avatar #2312 - Xaftz (03/05/2014) [-]
Did the fan look like it was on the motherboard itself? if so, it came with the cpu and the guy installed the cpu then he fan on top of it. Whatever cpu you get will come with a fan (some don't bring one but I doubt you'll get one of those).
