Well you should, since the newest stuff AMD got is based on stuff from 2012, while Intel has been releasing new stuff pretty much every year.

only go intel if you're going to process huge chunks of cpu crap. (create games/photoshop)
you can do this on AMD aswell, no probs but it will be lil slower. not by too much.

if you're only gaming, i'd just say go AMD.

yeah, you might be right. shame though that when you go with Intel after only one year the porsche bit is only worth 15 to 25 bucks suddenly without overclocking or anything.

so deciding what's better is purely taste.
