yea because its not like degrees aren't commonly used in calculus, trig, and physics as well. Radians are a more "natural" unit to measure angles but the fact remains that outside of academia the most commonly unit used in angular measurements is degrees. So get of your high horse and stop being so judgmental.

Anyone who has ever taken any form of basic trig has used radians, but degrees is more widely used outside of advanced mathematics. So barring a profession in engineering or pure mathematics you would very very rarely ever use radians.

When doing advanced trig the answer will always be wrong unless the working is done in radians. best case scenario you get answers like 75 degrees when it should be 70.
