soccer is a fabulous and sparkly wealing sport.
Like, hockey players get heavily hit ALL THE TIME. They'd shake a light touch like this off in an instant and fight further.
intense bodylove.. I always try to enjoy soccer, but more and more start to understnad why Americans dislike it. I even started to call it soccer, because it sucks

Pretty sure getting kneed in the head is no major issue when wearing a helmet and player rarely jump.
Also, the players move much faster, and without protective equipment any collision of sorts equals 60-80 kg of weight being thrown at one specific place. And don't go saying "rugby", those players get the chance to brace for impact, and can focus a lot of training on bulking strength. Do that in football, and you will lose speed as well as time that can be spent on technique, cardio and lean strength. In the rare occasion someone gets the drop on another player there, it usually involves a lot of tears.

Because a football field is much bigger, there is more area to cover and the players will need movement to cover that. A hockey field is small enough to allow players to only make small bursts in order to get the puck across. They will almost never reach max speed due to the slow acceleration and small field, whilst a footballer easily will go full speed at least 20 times every match. With no equipment and ideal conditions, a hockey player can probably go faster, but no player in their right mind would do that as the slighest collision will make them fly.

Can =/= Will
your halfway across the field by the time you reach max speed, a football player is significantly faster because the hockey players don't have the same speedbuilding abilities. A helicopter could beat a car in a 10 mile race, but not a 1 km one. So no, speed is absolutely not a bigger factor in hockey. Look at Floorball, the speed is significantly increased the second they leave the skates, and the injuries build up. Even then they can't justify a full sprint because the pitch is too small.

Getting kicked in the head is painful.
Hockey is difference in the sense they have abit more in terms of protective gear. Now skates are still sharp and pucks are a head injury waiting to happen. But the gear helps copes.
All in all. digestive end product hurts. Other digestive end product still hurts. They both hurt so dont get cocky when you believe you can take a cock thrust at the back of you're throat abit harder.

I hated having to play rugby in school.
I dont know if American football or rugby have different rules.
But as far as im aware. its more visble roughness than practical roughness.
All fields are made of grass. and the only tackles are below hip.
The tackles are hard. Yes I know. Still chances of getting stood on but as far as im aware. Below hip tackles are the only thing allowed. Tell me if im wrong.
But as I said. digestive end product hurts. Other digestive end product hurts differently. A suprise tackle and a headbutt to the ground followed by a bunch of people piling on you hurts. But so does a knee to the head or a puck to the face.
