Sad that they never came close to fully recapturing the magic of Old World Blues or Dead Money.....

I actually would have liked if siding with the traders actually amounted to something, because as it is all they do is say "Thanks, I guess" and stay milling about the market while leaving the entirety of Nuka World lifeless and empty....

Cool DLC though!

However it kind of bothered me that they had Nuka-Cola Quantum X-01 power-armor in the Galactic Zone display case. Talk about a massive lore-breaking time-paradox! Not to mention that you can still see the death-claw eye-sockets on the gatorcaw models....

Yeah, it's annoying. I get how they tried to make it cool, like, "you can take over the whole commonwealth with raiders". But if you're anything over level 30, the vast majority of settlements are going to be yours anyway. So then you have to sit through Shank being a patronizing asshole. I don't care for it. The only thing I liked was the new area and the loot. That's about it.

Well if it's non-power armor we are speaking off, then clearly the best armor is..... a simple hat!

I like Dogmeat, and I like dogs. Plus it's nice to have a dog companion since I haven't had a real one in such a long time.
#41 - wattlegobbler (09/26/2016) [-]
At least you can get the cryoweapon from your startvault by telling dogmeat to search near the vitrine and dogmeat will glitch in and get it for you without mastering lockpicking. Also a dog never judges but your human companions will on every decidion you make. But they could avoid it by making a pet class companion and independent companion like they did in new vegas
#43 - thylacine (09/26/2016) [-]
Plus he does not count as a companion under the Lone Wanderer perk, meaning you can get all of it's bonuses while having him as a follower!

exactly. I am far enough into the game where I have all the settlements under minutemen influence, so even doing the raider quests meant I had to sit through the "Uh, looks like that settlement is one of yours boss, still want to attack it?" every time.

I really don't know what Bethesda was thinking with this DLC.
Cool concept, but for someone like me who was the kind of "non offensive" character, friends with everyone type of guy, it felt weird helping the raiders.

I wish. I can't kill him since he's marked essential and I'm on vanilla PS4 Fuck Sony and their no mods . If I could, I would. Somewhat related, Nick Valentine disappeared from my game. I sent him to a settlement, and he vanished. Apparently it's a bug in PS4s.
#28 - wattlegobbler (09/26/2016) [-]
You heretic! How dare you to play a game with a shitton of mods avaiable on a dirty console?
User avatar
#29 - arachnofondler (09/26/2016) [-]
Because I like the ease of console. Don't have to build my own shit or worry about if it's the right spec, have to upgrade shit, etc. I'm not a pc guy. Gaming isn't my main hobby. I don't want to dump a ton of money into something I only get a couple hours a day to enjoy at most.
User avatar
#33 - wattlegobbler (09/26/2016) [-]
I dunno, i also get my shit done on a buisness PC, you dont need a high-tech gamer-PC or expensive graphic cards to enjoy the game
User avatar
#34 - arachnofondler (09/26/2016) [-]
I don't know man, I can't be arsed I guess? I don't know much about PC's. I'm a car guy, I fix shit and make old junk work. Between that and working and school, I don't have time for much else.
User avatar
#37 - wattlegobbler (09/26/2016) [-]
Ok then, everyone has his own prefered gamestyle. Its still cheaper on PC
